In Short Narendra Modi government on average has gone at a half the rate of UPA in rural electrification of villages.
One could argue that it may become progressively difficult as more villages are electrified (low hanging fruit argument) But the trend of villages covered does not support the argument. There is no continuous decline in number of villages electrified year on year basis. There are ups and downs.
