So bullet train ticket should be same as flight if not less.

There are 175 flights every week from Mumbai to Ahmedabad (source: cleartrip). A typical plane carries around 500 passengers or less

So at max 87500 people travel every week to ahmedabad. Same should return. So total traffic is 1,75,000 passengers

If all flight passengers shift to bullet train And Bullet train can carry all of them. Bullet train can earn 38.5 crore every week.

Bullet train should earn 6 crore per day or 42 crore par week.

So assuming the best case scenario - No maintenance, fuel cost. Zero interest. All flight users shift to bullet train.

You as tax payer will be paying 2.5 crore per week to keep Bullet train running. Excited?
