Inserting row(s) and column(s) in Excel 2007

To insert row

a two-step process that is quite convenient:
Step 1: Shift+SpaceBar = Select the current row
Step 2: Ctrl+Shift+PlusSign = Insert row(s)

To insert column
Use
Step 1:Ctrl + spacebar = Select the column
Step 2: Ctrl+Shift+PlusSign = Insert column (s)

To insert multiple rows/columns
Just select multiple rows/columns in step 1 using arrow key down

Alternative way

If you want to repeat and do more of each, you could just hit F4.
